Coastal Resiliency in North Carolina
NCBIWA is committed to working with coastal towns and counties, state and federal agencies and other partners to preserve and protect North Carolina's coastal resources. Collaborating with key partners to provide communities with sound data and information about coastal hazards will help make the coast more resilient to natural disasters. By increasing understanding of coastal hazard vulnerability, local governments are better able to make informed decisions to improve resilience along the coast.
